As an enquiry-based educator (inquiry-based in Ontario), I utilize a mix of new and traditional forms of teaching to foster growth, thinking and education. Shown here is a photo of a student and I at Heaton Intermediate (Christchurch, New Zealand) where I was heavily using this type of instruction. To this day, I continue to use these elements to support academic components as high as the post-secondary level to help inquirers develop their knowledge or solutions to research and problem-based learning. In fact, my 3rd year development (fundraising and sponsorship) class executes a project based on this method to support their investigation and research, which prepares them for life.
